The Two-Day Teachers’ Development Workshop was organised on 6–7 August 2026 at Matsyodari Sanstha’s College of Engineering and Technology, Jalna, in collaboration with Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha, for teachers from Jalna district. The workshop brought together 50 teachers—40 male and 10 female—along with 5 Innovation Champions, creating an engaging platform for teachers to refresh their learning and explore advanced content and innovative classroom practices.
The workshop was designed as a refresher and advanced content programme for teachers who had previously attended the iRISE Cascade Workshop. Its key objective was to reinforce concepts and pedagogical approaches introduced earlier while deepening teachers’ understanding of STEM through hands-on activities, creative thinking, innovation challenges, and experiential learning.
The two-day programme featured engaging sessions including “Reimagine, Reflect and Reconnect,” “Chemistry of Carbon Compounds,” “Innovation: Creative Thinking,” “Innovation: STEM Tinkering,” “Chemical Transformation,” and “Mathematics: Data Handling.” Through Chemistry activities, innovation challenges, and hands-on exploration, participants actively revisited concepts and connected them with practical classroom applications. The sessions encouraged teachers to reflect on their teaching practices and explore new approaches to make learning more meaningful and engaging for students.
A key highlight was the active participation of the Innovation Champions, who supported the learning process and contributed to an interactive workshop environment. The workshop provided opportunities for teachers to collaborate, experiment, share ideas, and strengthen their confidence in implementing innovative STEM practices.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory programme, where Shri Rajesh Tope, President, Matsyodari Sanstha, attended as the Chief Guest. His presence added significance to the closing ceremony and reinforces the importance of applying these experiences in classrooms and creating curious, innovative, and student-centred learning environments.
