iRISE in Bihar

Under the Teachers’ Development Strand, the implementation of the iRISE programme for the teachers in Bihar started on May 5, 2022, in collaboration with Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC), Patna. We have reached 450 teachers in Phase I and 147 Innovation Champions (ICs) attended the Phase II workshop at IISER Pune. These ICs will act as master trainers for scaling up this initiative in the state through cascade mode. To date, 27 cascade workshops with more than 1,400 teachers (Innovation Coaches) have been facilitated by 106 Innovation Champions in their respective districts. Through these workshops, iRISE has reached more than 2,00,000 students in Bihar.
