iRISE in Maharashtra

Under the Teachers’ Development Strand, the implementation of the iRISE programme for the teachers in Maharashtra started in November, 2021 in collaboration with Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT) , Pune and other Sansthas. We have reached 521 teachers in Phase I in 3 batches and 303 Innovation Champions (ICs) attended the Phase II workshop in 4 different batches at IISER Pune. These ICs will act as master trainers for scaling up this initiative in the state through cascade mode. To date, 69 cascade workshops with more than 4,150 teachers (Innovation Coaches) have been facilitated by the Innovation champions in their respective districts. Through these workshops, iRISE has reached almost 1,50,000 students in Maharashtra.
