Uttarakhand | Phase 2 | 10-Day Teacher Development Workshop

The iRISE - Inspiring India in Research, Innovation and STEM Education Programme 10-Day Teacher Development Workshop event was graced by the presence of Dr. Krishnanand Bijalwan, Assistant Director of SCERT, Uttarakhand; Dr. Avnish Uniyal, State Coordinator of INSPIRE MANAK; and Nitin Tiwane, Project Manager, iRISE. Prof. Naveen Kumar, Dean of Academic Affairs at IIT Roorkee; Prof. Kaushik Ghosh, Coordinator of the Continuing Education Centre at IIT Roorkee; Prof. Ranjana Pathania from the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT Roorkee; Prof. Harinath Chakrapani, Principal Investigator, iIRSE, IISER Pune.

Over the ten days, 38 committed educators from Uttarakhand engaged in an intensive program centered on STEM Education, Process Innovation, and Cascade Training Modules. This immersive workshop, featuring inquiry-based learning and interactive activities, aims to enhance professional development and inspire innovative teaching practices. The program is thoughtfully crafted to empower educators with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate their STEM curriculum delivery and spark curiosity in their students.
