The iRISE - Inspiring India in Research, Innovation and STEM Education Programme launched its "Capacity Building Workshop for Early Career Researchers" on September 23rd, 2024, at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU), Jalgaon, in collaboration with the university's IPR Cell. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. S.S. Rajput, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and featured distinguished guests includingProf. Hundiwale, IPR Chair of the IPR Cell, KBCNMU; Dr. Vikas Gite, Associate Professor, Head, Department of Polymer Chemistry, KBCNMU. Resource persons, Prof. Dilip Udas, Adjunct Professor at ICT, Mumbai, and Director of Ultraconcerve Pvt and Mr. Ashutosh Prachand, Director, LeidenFrost Innovations. Dr. Preeti Nema, Project Manager (Higher Education and Industry, Project iRISE), introduced the program, emphasizing the importance of equipping Early Career Researchers (ECRs) with versatile skills for academic and non-academic careers. This 3-day workshop, the 8th national-level event for ECRs, aims to enhance their workplace readiness in academia, industry, and entrepreneurship.
