Celebrating 200th District-level Workshop

The iRISE programme has reached a major milestone by successfully conducting its 200th district-level cascade workshop.
The iRISE cascade workshops have brought together teachers from diverse backgrounds to promote capacity building and a student-centric pedagogy at scale. The completion of 200 workshops exemplifies the dedication of the iRISE team, state leaders, and partners who have supported this initiative from its inception.
Since its launch, the iRISE programme has trained 11283 teachers, developed 590 Innovation Champions, and directly reached 8 lakh students through activity-based STEM modules. Support from consortium partners—including the Department of Science & Technology, IISER Pune, British Council, Royal Society of Chemistry, Tata Technologies, and Tata Trusts—has been crucial for strengthening STEM education nationwide.
This milestone is a testament to the iRISE consortium’s sustained encouragement and the collective commitment to improving science teaching and learning across India.
